What Golf Trundler Is Right For You?

In the vast world of golf trundlers to buy in New Zealand, here are a few I've hand picked that I think are the best in show.

Best 3 Wheel

1. Clicgear Model 4 ($549)

These have been our number one selling push trundler for 2 years running and for good reason. They are super robust and yet fold up into a pretty tidy package. A solid hand braking system provides security of your precious cargo. Umbrella holder and drink bottle holder included. You can also add a truck load of other accessories including; Shoe brushes, rangefinder/valuables bags as well as a bag cozy to fit carry bags snug onto the trundler and much, much more!

2. Axglo Tri-Lite ($329)

A compact, three wheel trundler with great storage capacity. A hand actuated brake system, for all your stopping needs. Drink bottle holder included with an umbrella holder that can be added for an additional cost. Just a really great mid range trundler to shop.

3. Sun Mountain Ridgeline 3 ($499)

A master of adjustability. The Ridgeline has an adjustable upper bag bracket that allows any golf bag to fit the trundler with ease. Couple that with the anti-corrosion, stainless steel screws, a spacious accessory tray and compatibility with Sun Mountain’s universal cart accessories and you’ve got yourself an extremely compelling option.

Best 4 Wheel

1. Flip n’ Go Pro ($379)

A slightly gruntier version of the standard 4 wheel Flip n’ Go. The Flip n Go Pro has two swivel front wheels that maximises its ability to maneuver the tightest of spots. Another great folding design means it’s one of the most compact 4 wheel options out there. You get both a drink bottle holder and an umbrella holder included, as well as a solid braking system. 

2. Sun Mountain PX4 ($399)

The Sun Mountain PX4 folds/unfolds in two easy steps and has built-in storage. The new single-piece handle allows the cart to be pushed with one hand and the updated console tray has dual-umbrella attachments. Includes a drink holder and hand actuated braking system. With some really cool colour options this is another great choice.

Best Electric Golf Trundler 

1. MGI Navigator AT GPS ($3799)

Re mortgage the house because the MGI Navigator AT GPS+ is worth it! A fully remote controlled, GPS integrated trundler that boasts more courses than than you could ever play (40,000). With the list of optional extras too long to list this trundler has everything you could ever possibly need or want.  Bluetooth connectivity means your phone can stay in your bag and you won’t miss a thing! This is truly the ‘creme de la creme’ of motorised trundlers.   

2. MGI X5 ($2199)

The MGI X5 is the model above the entry level MGI X1. The reason this is my preference over the entry level X1 is the downhill speed control. What this means is the X5 maintains your desired speed on all downhill terrain, rather than accelerating away from you. Extremely handy when heading towards a water hazard. It's also extremely quiet. The push start and stop makes the X5 a very easy trundler to navigate. With access to the wide range of accessories you can customise this trundler to suit your needs. 

Best Basic 

1. Masters Trundler Series One ($99)

If price is your number 1 priority then this trundler is for you. As basic as it gets, two wheels, no brake, no frills. Off you go! 

Best Compact 

1. Big Max Blade Quattro ($519)

Don’t enter a limbo competition with this trundler; it lays down as flat as a pancake! If you are looking for a compact trundler, look no further! With a foot brake and XL organiser panel to hold all of your necessities the Big Max Quattro has this category covered!
