Golf HQ anticipates that your purchase will meet your expectations of quality, function and design. If, however in the unfortunate situation where you may require an exchange, you must present proof of purchase to the store.
You can choose an exchange or refund if the item you purchased has a major problem, such as, if the item:
- Has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item, if they had known about it
- Is unsafe
- Is significantly different from the sample or description
- Doesn't do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can't be easily fixed
Golf HQ may offer to repair, exchange or provide a gift card If the problem is not major. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time, you can choose a refund or replacement item.
Golf HQ are not obliged to provide an exchange or refund, if you simply change your mind about your purchase.
Golf HQ is not liable for any shipping or delays due to Covid 19 (including lockdown levels)
Online (Webstore) Purchases - If an Exchange or Refund is required
If you purchased an item online via www.golfhq.co.nz and upon delivery find that the item is unfortunately defective, damaged, has been sent incorrectly, or does not match the description to which it was advertised, we will organise a return pickup at Golf HQ expense. We will ship the replacement item to you, at no charge.
In such circumstances, please contact our Webstore via firstname.lastname@example.org where one of our friendly staff will contact you directly to discuss the best exchange process suitable for you.
Golf HQ are not obliged to provide an exchange or refund, if you simply change your mind about your purchase.
We aim to despatch stock items within 48 hours of receipt of your payment. You can typically expect to receive orders within 7 working days.
On occasions where a product may be temporarily out of stock, the customer will be contacted either by telephone or email and can either wait the extra delivery time or be offered a refund or exchange for a product that is in stock.
Costs vary depending upon parcel sizes and delivery areas. All shipping costs are based upon historical average costs and actual costs can be slightly larger or smaller than the amount charged.
E-Gift Card Policy
These terms apply to all gift cards and electronic vouchers issued by or on behalf of Golf HQ Ltd. By purchasing, redeeming or attempting to redeem a Gift Card, you agree to the following terms.
1. Redeemable for goods purchased online and at participating Golf HQ stores.
2. The E-Gift Card is valid for 12 months from date of issue.
3. E-Gift Cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. No change will be given. The E-Gift Card can be redeemed in whole or for part of a payment. Unredeemed values will remain on the E-Gift Card until card expiry or until redeemed, whichever occurs first. Any remaining balance will be cancelled on expiry of the validity period. The E-Gift Card should be treated like cash.
4. Golf HQ is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged E-Gift Cards.
5. Once the E-Gift Card has been fully redeemed it cannot be reused.
6. This E-Gift Card can be used in conjunction with another form of payment such as cash & EFTPOS (in-store only) or credit card to make up the full value of the purchase.
7. Golf HQ reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of the E-Gift Card at any time and to take appropriate actions, including the cancellation of the E-Gift Card if, at its discretion, it deems such action necessary.
8. Should Golf HQ suspect any fraud relating to an E-Gift Card, Golf HQ may refuse to redeem the E-Gift Card until Golf HQ is satisfied that no fraud has occured.
9. Neither Golf HQ, nor the provider of the data, represents or guarantees, or accepts any liability whatsoever in respect of, the accuracy, currency or completeness of the E-Gift Card information. Golf HQ does not accept any liability for any delays, interruptions, errors, or omissions, however occurring (including as a result of negligence) in the collecting, recording, processing, storing or dissemination of this information.
Golf HQ recognises that your privacy is very important to you. Providing your personal information is an act of trust that we take very seriously. Golf HQ will not sell, trade, give or rent any information obtained from you to a third party.
We acknowledge that we may collect and store information about you as part of offering services on the website. In this regard, we will act ethically and as evidence of this commitment, we will take reasonable steps to comply with the following principals in relation to the information you give to us about you.
Golf HQ collects the personal data that you volunteer via the www.golfhq.co.nz website via forms or by email. This information will only be collected by lawful and fair means.
In order to register with the Golf HQ website, we require some basic information about you. We also allow you to provide additional non-required information on registration and at other times. Only information marked as 'required' during registration is needed to use services on the website. This information is used for identification purposes and to contact you when necessary.
As you browse the Golf HQ website, we may log the IP address of your computer, session details, and domain name to evaluate which parts of the website you visit and how long you stay there. We do not link your computer's IP address with any other information you have submitted to us. While a Golf HQ user's session may be tracked, all users remain anonymous when tracked.
IP tracking information is aggregated with tracking data from all site visitors to measure number of visits, average time spent on the website, pages viewed, and to help diagnose problems with our servers.
2. Use and disclosure
Golf HQ requires you to provide certain information about yourself in order to provide services to you. We will not rent, sell or exchange information about you to third parties (other than related parties) except where you consent, or except where you would expect the information to be disclosed, or except where we have indicated we may disclose; or except where we are legally obliged to disclose such information.
By choosing to write a comment or customer review, you have consented to the use of this information in future, for reproductions used in advertising by Golf HQ, except where you have specified for us not to disclose this information.
3. Data quality
Golf HQ will take reasonable steps to ensure that information we have about you is accurate, complete and up to date when we collect and use it.
4. Data security
Golf HQ will take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we hold about you is kept secure at all times. Golf HQ will limit access to your personal information to employees and data processors that need it to carry out the service provided by us except where we inform you otherwise. Our employees and data processors are obliged to respect the confidentiality of clients and website visitors personal data. Golf HQ will reinforce with other employees the policies and practices in relation to safeguarding personal information of clients and visitors, preventing its unauthorised access, use or disclosure, and ensuring its proper handling.
Our website has policies, rules and measures in place to protect the visitor's personal data from:
- Unauthorised access
- Improper use
- Unlawful or accidental destruction
- Accidental loss
Golf HQ will be honest and open with you about the type of personal information that is collected about you and the actual use of any such information. By giving out your personal information, or filling in the entry or application form, or writing a customer review, you have consented to the use of this information in future, for marketing campaigns that Golf HQ feels you may be interested in.
At any time, you have the option to opt out from receiving any future marketing material by contacting Golf HQ by sending an Unsubscribe email to email@example.com or sending a written request to us by one of the methods in section 12 Contact Information.
6. Access and correction
If you provide us with satisfactory personal identification, such as your login details, Golf HQ will let you have access to the information we keep about you and give you the opportunity to have that information corrected if it is found to be incorrect. Further, if Golf HQ is not able to release details of personal information to you, then we will provide you with reasons for any denial of access or correction.
You can access our web site home page and browse the public area of the Golf HQ website without disclosing personal information. Golf HQ will, wherever it is lawful and practicable, give you the option of not identifying yourself to us except where it is necessary to use our website services.
8. Transfer of Data
Golf HQ will take reasonable steps to ensure that if any information you give us about you will remain subject to the protection given by our Privacy Statement or another statute or binding scheme which is substantially similar to this Privacy Statement.
9. Sensitive Information
Golf HQ will not collect information that is considered highly personal or highly sensitive about you. For example, information relating to your racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, sexual orientation or in relation to your health will not be collected by us.
10. Client and Visitor Choice
By registering with Golf HQ, you have chosen to receive promotional or marketing information from our website or organisation and/or affiliates and alliances. At any time, you can opt out from receiving such information by sending a request to opt out using any of the methods detailed in the contact information (section 12).
11. Coverage and Complaints
Our Privacy Statement covers Golf HQ and the Golf HQ website. If you would like to make a complaint on the basis that you feel your privacy has been breached because we have failed to comply with this Privacy Statement, you should contact us using any of the methods detailed in the contact information (section 12).

Golf HQ Rewards Terms & Conditions
Program Eligibility & Membership
The Golf HQ Rewards Programme is a loyalty and rewards program offered at the sole discretion of Golf HQ Ltd (“we”, “our” or “us”). No purchase, payment or credit card is required to sign up for, join and/or participate in the Birdie tier of the program. Your membership is automatically established when you place an order on our website, or you create an account without making a purchase.
The program is available to individuals for their personal use and is limited to one (1) account per individual. Employees of Golf HQ Ltd are ineligible to participate in the program.
We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time in our discretion without prior notice to you. You should review these Terms to understand the terms and conditions of the Program as they may change from time to time. When we make revisions or modifications to the Terms, they will be posted on the website at golfhq.co.nz and are effective immediately upon posting and will supersede all prior versions of these Terms. These Terms do not alter in any way the terms or conditions of any other agreement that you may have with us, including any agreement for products or services.

There is no requirement to make any payment or purchase or to provide any credit card information to sign up to Golf HQ Rewards or to enrol
To enrol in the Program, you may be required to provide any or all of the following: your first and last name, valid email address, telephone number, postal and billing addresses. You are solely responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your account information and for keeping it up-to-date as may be required. You must update your personal information through your online account
Only one Program account may be associated with a single email address. In the event of a dispute over the ownership of a Program account membership, the Program member will be deemed to be the authorised account holder of the email address submitted at the time of Program enrolment. "Authorised account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or organisation (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Enrolling or attempting to enrol in the Program multiple times through the use of multiple email addresses is prohibited and any such action will be cause for termination of your participation in the Program.
Enrolment and participation in the program is voluntary, optional and not required to complete any transaction or sale, including but not limited to, any credit or debit transaction. You can opt out of membership at any time by notifying us in writing and by providing us with identification to verify you are the account holder. You can opt in and out of communications regarding your membership but retain your membership by unsubscribing to The Golf HQ Rewards emails.
How the Program Works/Program Rewards.
The Program allows you to earn rewards based on qualifying purchases and by completing certain actions. Once you earn rewards you may be eligible to redeem rewards for certain benefits, which benefits and rewards may change from time to time and may be offered on a limited basis. Benefits and Rewards, can be viewed at the Golf HQ Rewards widget or Golf HQ rewards information page.
Some purchases made in-store at Golf HQ and online at www.golfhq.co.nz are ineligible for earning rewards in the Program. Ineligible purchases include but are not limited to gift card purchases, shipping and handling charges, repairs and labour charges.
To earn rewards for a Qualifying Purchase made in-store, prior to completion of the sales transaction, you will be required to notify the salesperson of your Golf HQ Rewards email address. If you are an existing customer, you will be asked to provide your first and last name, valid email address, telephone number, postal and billing addresses in order for the purchase to be eligible to receive points for. If you are a new customer wishing to join Golf HQ Rewards and earn points, you will be required to provide your first and last name, valid email address, telephone number, postal and billing addresses.
You may not defer the provision of this information and earn points on purchases made prior to submission of this information. Rewards points are not applied retrospectively.
To earn rewards for a Qualifying Purchase made online, you must check out, or be logged in with your Golf HQ Rewards membership email address. Rewards will not be applied retrospectively for orders that have been completed prior to the provision of this information. Rewards points are not given to customers who check out as guests unless they have created a Golf HQ Rewards account. Rewards points are given to customers who have created a Golf HQ Rewards account but have checked out as a guest. You can check your membership status, points balance and rewards history at the Widget.
Program rewards have no cash value, cannot be sold and are non-transferable. Program accounts, rewards or benefits cannot be transferred to, shared or combined with any other person or Program member. Only the Program member that is paying for the Qualifying Purchase may accumulate rewards and benefits and only the Program member may redeem rewards that have accumulated in that member's account. The sale, barter, transfer or assignment of any reward or benefit offered through the Program, other than by us, is expressly prohibited and will be cause for termination of your participation in the Program, and any rewards or benefits offered by us under the Program are subject to change at any time in our sole discretion, without prior notice.
If you return an item from a Qualifying Purchase for a refund to your original method of payment, you will be deducted the points earned from that purchase. In the case of a multi item purchase resulting in a partial return, you will be deducted the points earned from that item, or those items. If your accrual in points results in a movement up a membership tier, and the refund of an order or items and the corresponding deduction in points moves you down, your membership tier will be adjusted accordingly.
Rewards available through the Program are for personal use only and may not be sold or resold. We reserve the right, without notice, to cancel or reduce the quantity of any reward available through the Program at any time, in our sole discretion. We also reserve the right, without notice, to change Program benefits and ways in which rewards may be earned or redeemed at any time, in our sole discretion. We reserve the right to place limitations on the number of Qualifying Purchases that are eligible for the Program and/or the number or types of rewards that you may receive or earn during any given period of time or for the duration of the Program and/or any combination thereof. Reward points cannot be refunded or credited back to a Golf HQ Rewards Account once a Coupon Code is generated, and the corresponding number of Points deducted from the Account. Please check your actions accordingly.
We are not responsible for rewards that may be lost or redeemed as the result of any fraudulent activity.
We reserve the right to determine the rewards in any GOlf HQ Rewards member's account based upon our internal records related to such member's account. A member's rewards shall be deemed correct and accurate as reflected in our records and our good faith determination of the amount of rewards available to any member shall be final and binding.
If you have concerns regarding your Golf HQ Rewards account activity, including, by way of example and not limitation, rewards earned for a Qualifying Purchase that have not been properly applied to your Golf HQ rewards account, please contact our customer service team by email at firstname.lastname@example.org with your Golf HQ Rewards email address contained in the email, or as the sender, along with your query.
By enrolling in the Program, you will be automatically subscribed to receive marketing emails from Golf HQ and Golf HQ Rewards, including Program-related communications.
You may opt-out of receiving marketing emails from Golf HQ and Golf HQ Rewards at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in the email to manage your preferences. You may choose to receive only Program-related communications. Examples of these communications include emails relating to your Program account, rewards redemption or other Program service-related emails.
Program Termination, Cancellation or Modification
The Program and its benefits are offered at the sole discretion of Golf HQ Ltd. We may terminate, cancel, modify or restrict these Terms and/or the Program or any aspect of it at any time, in our sole discretion and without prior notice to you, even if any such actions by us may affect the value of rewards or benefits already accumulated or earned and/or the ability to redeem earned rewards that had already accumulated.
If you decide that you no longer want to participate in the Program, you may cancel your membership at any time by contacting our customer service team email@example.com
If your membership is cancelled by you or terminated by us, you will lose all accrued rewards or benefits in your Golf HQ Rewards account at the time of such cancellation or termination.
